The organisers of International Data Week 2018, which will take place in Gaborone, Botswana on 5-8 November 2018, are inviting data experts to apply to be a member of the Programme Review Committee.

The principal task of the Committee will be to review the abstracts for papers and posters which will be submitted for the SciDataCon part of International Data Week.  This is an extremely important task which has bearing on the quality and the success of the conference.  In particular, we encourage constructive reviews which will improve the quality of the proposed intervention.

A smaller group of the review panel will be invited to assist with designing the detail of the programme, strands, sessions and so forth.

The deadline for submissions is Thursday 31 May.  Proposals for papers and posters will be sent to reviewers shortly after that date.  We will request completion of reviews in 2 weeks in order to complete the review process within the month of June.
