Karl Nyabundi Profile and Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Karl Nyabundi holds BSc in Agriculture University of Nairobi (UoN), MSc in Agronomy (UoN) and PhD in Horticulture from Maseno University. He is an Agronomist with over 20 years research experience, initially focusing on Coffee Husbandry at the formerly Coffee Research Foundation and later on Tea Agronomy and Eco physiology at Tea Research Institute (TRI). He was Programme Leader, Sustainable Ecosystems Management and Conservation (SEMC) between 2015 and 2017 and acting Programme Leader, Economics, Field Advisory and Corporate Communications (EFACC) from 2016 to 2017 at the TRI.  Currently he is in charge of Technology Packaging and Dissemination section at KALRO headquarters. He has also been involved in preparation of various publications at TRI and at KALRO headquarters.  He has published a book, a book chapter, MSc and PhD theses on Agronomy and Horticulture respectively, more than 20 refereed journal papers, 3 papers in conference proceedings and many more technology transfer extension publications.
